ABOUT THE DESIGNER
With a deep love towards animals & travel and a photographer by passion, Shivangi Bajpai, a NIFT graduate in Textile Design, had an epiphany that compelled her to bring a change in the conventional sense of fashion, thus designing a brand creating social awareness with amalgamation of artisanal craftsmanship.
Her vision of bringing good to the environment and wildlife has brought a unique creative flair, complemented by an energetic entrepreneurial zest that has propelled MixMitti forward to emerge as a mainstream Indian design industry.
"When I started this, I just had one objective in my mind- Let Fashion Be Meaningful. We have been wearing a variety of looks all our life, why not just make it a medium of giving out an important message to the world. With every new day we are heading towards complete loss of natural resources and wildlife. So many animals in the past decade have gone extinct because of negligence and lack in public awareness. As an individual, who loves dressing stylish and looking out of crowd, what can I do?? Well, here we are with MIXMITTI. My passion in photography and experience in fashion & crafts sector came handy and a little push from friends made this idea all possible."
